Core values and philosophy behind Improv RP's approach to roleplay.

• Improv prioritizes story-driven roleplay over strict rule enforcement during scenarios.
• All scenarios should be approached with creativity and an open mind.
• Realistic mechanics are encouraged but not at the cost of creative freedom.
• Expect the unexpected—every scene is unique.

Background setting and lore for roleplaying in Improv RP.

• San Andreas is recovering from economic collapse and a failed coup.
• Businesses are slowly reopening; many civilians are jobless or homeless.
• Crime is rising due to understaffed emergency services.
• Players may reuse old characters, but history from the past 5 years must be adapted.

Behaviors that will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

• No toxicity, abuse, or harassment towards anyone.
• No drama-baiting, manipulation, or undermining other players.
• Racism, sexism, and all forms of discrimination are strictly prohibited.
• IC or OOC harassment to make others uncomfortable is forbidden.

Basic requirements and expectations for all community members.

• Community is 18+ only.
• You must have a working, clear microphone.
• Basic understanding of roleplay is required—no excuses for rule breaks.
• Do not DM or VC staff about issues—use the ticket system only.

Rules for maintaining a streamer-friendly environment.

• Always follow Twitch and Discord Terms of Service.
• No stream sniping—watching streams to gain in-game advantage is forbidden.

General rules to maintain immersive and quality RP.

• No metagaming—using OOC info IC is not allowed.
• No powergaming—do not force actions or outcomes on others.
• Low-effort RP (e.g., RDM/NVL) will not be tolerated.
• Character names must be original and appropriate.
• Voice changers must be realistic and contextually appropriate.

Scenarios that are banned regardless of context.

• Suicide or self-harm RP.
• Pregnancy or child characters.
• Rape, sexual assault, or sexist/racist characters.

Guidelines for staying in-character and avoiding immersion breaks.

• Stay IC at all times; laugh off small breaks and move on.
• Avoid using terms like 'head pop', 'headache', 'discord', or 'wizards'.

Rules for reporting and handling bugs or exploits.

• Report bugs immediately to staff.
• Abuse of bugs will result in bans depending on severity.

Limits and expectations around criminal activity and gang conflict.

• No crime 30 minutes before server restart.
• Max 5 criminals vs 8 PD unless scene escalates.
• Standard gang conflict limit is 5v5 unless mutually agreed otherwise.
• Consent is required for torture or any forced RP.
• Permadeath must be declared clearly and not reversed post-deletion.
